This tune will be familiar to Westerners from the Nintendo Gameboy version of the well-known Tetris video game, to a point where people will think of it as »the Tetris tune«. It is based on a 19th-century Russian folk song called »Коробейники« (»Korobeiniki«).
The incorrect »Kobobeiniki« romanisation occurs on the Marian Anderson CD, Sunday Class Dance Book 1.
