9-16 1c dance Allemande Turn with 1st corners

1c & 1st corners dance in advancing towards each other

giving RH, the women dance under the men’s arm and

curve out to own side While men retire

1c end on sides facing 2nd corners (4 bars)

1c dance a modified Allemande Turn with 2nd corners

1c & 2nd corners dance in advancing towards each other

giving RH

On bars 15-16 1c Petronella turn to right to end back to back

in middle in Double Triangle position

While 2L & 3M dance under arms and curve out to own side

(4 bars)

17-24 2c 1c 3c dance Petronella Double triangles

(1c start improper - All will end improper 3c 1c 2c)

25-32 All chase 1/2 way round set clockwise to own

Note: Along with lighting candles on the menorah, spinning the

“Dreidel” is a traditional game played during the holiday.

Although not the correct number, the setting in line,

advance & retire represent the candles in a menorah. The Petronella Double Triangles represent the spinning of the

dreidel

HERE WE GO A WASSAILING (8X32R) 3C IN A 4C SET – Devised By Holly V. Sherman

1-8 1c, 2c, 3c all dance a 3 couple Allemande starting from the sides (Use bar 1 to dance in & take allemande hold)

Bars 2 to 8 are the same as regular Allemande for 2c & 3c

However, 1c (on bars 7 & 8) stay in the middle and dance up in promenade hold to end between 3c at top.

9-16 1c (in promenade hold) dance a Reel across with 3c

(Give RS to 3L to begin)

17-24 1c (still in promenade hold) dance a Reel across with 2c

(Give RS to 2L to begin)

End in 2nd place middle, drop hands & face out

25-32 1c dance a Promenade Chain Progression with 3c & 2c

1c dance out own sides and cast to the right (CW)

(End 1M up at top of set, 1L down at bottom of set)

while 3c & 2c Turn RH ¾ (2 bars)

1M pick up 3L in promenade hold, 1L pick up 2M in promenade hold and continue dancing around the outside of set CW to opposite ends (lady top, man bottom)

while 3M & 2L in the middle Turn LH 1 ½ (4 bars)

1c release the person dancing with and continue CW around outside of set to 2nd place own side while 2c & 3c Turn RH ¾ to end on own sides (2 bars)
