I have added the availability in print. 

The year is in the database. The reason that it is not displayed, is a known database issue with the representation of dates only partly known like year+month or year only.

@Anselm: However, since the field only says "Publication year" this should not be a problem afterall. It should just be display as a year if present. And the year alone should not pose a representation problem in the database. Am I correct?
