Although Eric added the information to the Extra Info, I believe the database flags for "Musician" are updated automatically from whether the database has any recordings and/or albums attributed to that person (im not sure if its one, the other or both).

As Alan does not currently have any such listed in the database (we would be happy to add them if you do) I suspect the "Musician" flag may not last the night.
