I believe there is an ommission in the text crib for bars 3-4 when the twos are dancing up and setting

Thanks, I agree. However the crib was contributed by an unidentified user. Since it does not seem to be possible to contact whoever wrote that crib I just updated it with the missing action for the 2s (though I think its for bars 5-8).
