This tune is identical to <<ddt:Mr Douglas of Springwood Park>> by Alexander Givan, and erroneously credited to Peter Milne. (»Mr Douglas …« is the original title.) The entries for both tunes should be merged under »Mr Douglas …«, but since the tune is often used as the suggested tune for dances under the other name (including <<ddd:Bonnie Kate of Aberdeen>> in RSCDS Book 17) this would probably cause confusion. What we need is for dance-to-tune mappings to allow for tune aliases the way recording-to-tune mappings do, and I'm making this issue primarily to remind myself to implement this at some point (as well as make the actual change to the data then).

_Assigned_ changed to »anselm« (previously »None«) _Disposition_ changed to »Needs help« (previously »New«) Alexander Givan entered as deviser. "Cropie's Strathspey" added as alias. Will carry out the merge operation as soon as Anselm gives the green light that the "dance-to-tune" mappings have been revamped to accept aliases. So issue "needs help". Eric

Not as of now it isn't. I'm holding off on gratuitous schema changes until the move to the new software.
