More Info Half Brother to John Howison, also a fiddler. Also described as a Dancing Master Greatly respected by several Borders families and accompanied Lord Minto to Calcutta but unfortunately died shortly after arriving. Credited with writing the tune for "Dance to your Daddy, my bonny Babby." , stil[ a popular Tyneside folk song. There is quite a lot of additional information but unfortunately not at all centralised!
