Dance Video The Crown of King's (Video 1)
(No short description)
A good performance which substantially differs from the original instructions in several places:
- Part 2 bars 1-2: 1st couple should turn both hands while advancing, here they just advance.
- Part 2 bars 9-16: here done as two separate reels instead of one with all in promenade hold.
- Part 2 bars 25-32: 1st couple here do not make the expected arch.
- Part 3: the Celtic Brooch figure is here replaced with Schiehallion reels.
Its nice to watch but not quite what John Drewry envisaged.
