Fomr the dance notes: "Alan and Lydia Smith founded the Concord, Massachusetts, Scottish Country Dance group in 1960. They wrote this dance for the Twenty-fifth Anniversary Ball in 1985, and Ed Pearlman composed the title tune and played for that occasion. The Concord group became a Boston Branch class in 1989 and now meets in Weston, Massachusetts."
