For Alex Coats of Kenora, who sang a calypso devised in March 1997 at the ceilidh in Winnipeg. Many of the dancers at the weekend school received amusing mention in the calypso. Drewry added these NOTES: 1. This dance should not be taken too seriously. 2. I nearly gave the dance the alternative title "Coates Crescent" but feared that such a name for a light-hearted dance might upset too many people in high places.
Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (3). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.
