The instructions in Friendship Dances have 8 bars for the intersecting reels of four and 8 bars for dancing up/down and casting. The e-crib and diagram phrase this as 12 bars and 4 bars. Written for 75th Anniversary of RSCDS at St Andrews Summer School 1998.
