Clachan Bridge links Seil Island with the mainland, crossing waters of the Atlantic.  The dance tells the story of boys on one side of the bridge and girls on the other, dancing on their own sides.  One couple cross over the bridge and then return.  Bars 17-32 represent the wedding procession and festivities.
