"Piggy in the Middle" is a demonstration dance for 7 persons, more explicitly 3 couples in a longwise set and a 7th dancer facing down between 2nd couple. The description specifies the 7th dancer as being a 'man'. When devising this demonstration dance, Jean McWilliam was inspired by Lindsey Ross' tune "The Wind that shakes the Piggery".
