From the book: The dance was devised by Isla Henderson (nee Macleod) and the music is by her father. Isla spent many of her formative years in Skye and is now a teacher of Scottish country dancing in Inverness. She returns frequently to Skye to dance and husband David to hillwalk. This dance is a nice opener for any programme and indeed for this book.
