"Written for Ruth & Ash Fitchett, loyal and supportive members of the of Wellington SCD Club". Ruth and Ash are great travellers and have had several trips overseas. As the dance will show, they take off on their own but always return to dance with their friends at the Wellington Club". The instructions for this dance were first published in "A tribute to Norfolk Island" (1992), and then again (1999) in the booklet accompanying the CD <<dda:Kardinia Capers#355>>. Those both say that on bar 48, at the end of the reel, 1st couple half turn left hand and face up (then change to right hand joined to lead up). Another version of the instructions instead say that on bar 48 1st couple should pass right shoulder and face up with right hands joined. Originally both MiniCrib and E-crib followed the first version but are being changed to follow the second version. The video <<https://my.strathspey.org/dd/dancevideo/5529/|Video 1>> shows several sets, with dancers using each option.
Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (4). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.
