Devised in 1990 under the working title "Hamish Henderson's Refusal", the dance was revised in 1991 and published in 1992 as "Susie Petrov's Strathspey".

The dance is dedicated to Susie Petrov, one of the inspiring musicians who have played at TAC Summer School [presumably 1990].

This dance appears in a <<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cQ-vaS3Nsc|YouTube video>> that states: *Recorded on September 13, 2008, at the Arkansas Dance Festival in Mountain View. The dances included are "A Flock of Geese," "A Trip to St. Andrews." and "Preston Mill."* The second dance is in fact "Susie Petrov's Strathspey". It is unclear how the wrong name arose.

Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (5). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.

Recordings whose titles are in italics are not explicitly linked to this dance but have been identified by the database based on the type, bar count, and recommended tune(s) of the dance.
