This dance was devised in 1983 and appeared in the Glasgow Branch of the RSCDS Diamond Jubilee book of dances. The Glasgow Branch hold the copyright but agreed to let it appear in this book. Shooglie was an affectionate name for the tramcars in Glasgow pre 1950.
