This dance is sometimes billed as a 200-bar dance. This confusion arises from the question of whether in Figures 1 and 2, bars 1–8 (“honouring” partners and corners) are part of the “repetition” done with 2nd and 4th couples leading, which would lead to an extra 16 bars altogether. The most recent versions of this dance description make it clear that the “honouring” is not part of the repetition, hence 184 bars.
