A variant, created inadvertently by Mel Briscoe, has now been given its own name "<<ddd:Wes Clindinning's Hornpipe>>" as it has become popular in its own right (see there for more information). The dance denoted as "Belfast Hornpipe (New Way)" at <<https://dances.e-cribs.org/var/Cincinnati_Demo_Dances_2007-2008.pdf>> (there also attributed to Mel Briscoe) is not identically to either of the two dances above. However, all three dances only differ in bars [25-32].
