For three couples on three sides of a square (or semicircle). This dance was collected from J McAskell of Stornaway by Mary Isdale MacNab. The dance purportedly dates back to 1649 “and was very popular in that period”. (The fact that we don't seem to have other contemporary dances of similar complexity from independent sources makes that somewhat doubtful.)
