Following publication of <<ddd:Australian Ladies@Campbell|Bob Campbell's dance of the same name>> some ten years after this dance was written, Alec Hay referred to his dance as “Hay's Australian Ladies”. Preferred music: "Gay Gordons" recorded by Stan Hamilton and "The Flying Scotsman" (RCA Victor R.P.L. 3404). The tune "Australian Ladies" is also named in the description.
