I’ve been a huge fan of Gordon Lightfoot’s music since 1968. The title of this dance is the second line in one of my favorite songs “Pussywillows, Cattails.” I wrote this dance shortly after hearing of his passing at the age of 84.
Note: when we danced it we realized people can get confused with both set and link for 3 couples and set and rotate for 3 couples, but once they keep them straight it flows beautifully.
