The choreography came to Steven early one morning as he lay in bed contemplating the moment that can be considered the calm before the ‘storm’ of the day. Ironically, a snowstorm started a few hours later. The dance was first tried by the brave souls who came out to that evening’s Inverarity party (the long-running dance party in the Nealleys’ home in Ardmore, Pennsylvania).
