Deviser's note:
This was devised with the intention of inviting all to dance it with the deepest yearning for the dear friend Yoshiaki Niwa, who has passed away.
Mr Yoshiaki Niwa and my late husband, Yukio Naitoh, were very good friends.
I remember them saying to each other that the initial of their names was the same as the New York Yankees, the baseball team, since they both had NY as the first letter of their names.
They sometimes borrowed the design of the baseball team logo, which N and Y are overlapped, when inscribing their initials. This is the origin of this dance.

Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (4). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.

Recordings whose titles are in italics are not explicitly linked to this dance but have been identified by the database based on the type, bar count, and recommended tune(s) of the dance.
