: All advance, join nearer hands & raise them (Christmas tree) & retire.
5–8
: All advance then pull RSh back to cast one place clockwise, & pivot once round on the spot on last bar (ornaments). Dancer 2 is now at the top.
9–
: All dance RH across & LH back (star). “Bottom dancers” finish nearer hands joined facing up & “top dancer” finishes facing down.
17–20
: All set. Bottom dancers make an arch, dance up, turn towards each other & face down, while top dancer dances down under the arch & turns about, pulling right shoulder back, to face up (Santa going down the chimney).

: All set. Top dancers make an arch, dance down, turn towards each other & face up, while bottom dancer dances up under the arch & turns about, pulling right shoulder back, to face down (Santa going up the chimney).
