The dance, devised by Jack Pressley, was for Harry and Greta McCouaig who run some of the best dances in the Buchan area at Longside, Aberdeenshire every Sunday. They have created such a great atmosphere at their dances and book the best of Scotland’s musicians to play at their dances. The name “Hills of Home” relate to the Ochil Hills in Clackmannanshire. The Ochil Hills dominated the scenery where Harry and Greta were originally from. Harry from Tillicoultry and Greta from Alloa.
