In the “RSCDS Herefordshire Branch 40th Anniversary Collection of Dances 1967–2007” the dance description has the correct name “Ross Reel”, but in the Table of Contents the name is misprinted as “The Ross Reel” (information obtained from RSCDS Herefordshire) .
