Modified version. The original published instructions (<<https://my.strathspey.org/dd/dance/18076/|Dance 18076>>) were for a 48 bar dance. This has been altered to improve danceability. Bars 17-32 took 8 bars and bars 41-64 have been changed.

The original publication, Two National Dances of Scotland, describes this dance on the cover page, on the title page and on the dance description page as a Reel while the music, in the same publication and with the same title, composed by the dance deviser is in 6-8 time, i.e. a Jig.

This dance is discussed in RSCDS London Branch's <<link:thereel/301>> and <<link:thereel/302>>.
