In February 2018, the deviser, Steve Goulden, asked the crib and diagram authors on SCDDB: "Could you change the format of this dance to Sx2/Rx2? That way each couple gets to dance each rhythm.".

The original description uses the name "A Dance for Helen". It is not clear when and why the second name was adopted.

Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (4). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.

Recordings whose titles are in italics are not explicitly linked to this dance but have been identified by the database based on the type, bar count, and recommended tune(s) of the dance.
