On each repetition, women progress one place counter-clockwise while men progress clockwise, all end in original places at the end of the fourth time through. Partners begin beside each other on first and third repetitions and across from each other on second and fourth repetitions. Thanks to Alec Hay for the unnamed figure that he introduced in his dance Peter White and to Helen Greenwood who popularized the figure in her dance Best Set in the Hall. But note that the movement in 25-32 is similar but NOT the same.
Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (4). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.
