This dance was inspired by a trip taken by several American dancers to Australia in April 2015. The first 8 bars represent us circling the airport parking area repeatedly to pick up a late arrival. The second figure represents the “hands up” figure our Sydney instructor used. The final figure (and variations of it) was the signature of Robert Templeton, from Tasmania, who introduced us to several of his dances.
