This dance is dedicated to and inspired by my friend Kristi Closser. Kristi went through the teacher training for Scottish country dance and I was one of her trainers. One week Kristi was to teach Double Triangles and she started with a very normal exercise of setting and pivoting round, as the first couple does in the middle of Double Triangles; unfortunately she had people practice in the order, travel round, set, travel round and set. The next session she was to teach circle four hands round and back into Allemand; she taught very clearly to circle to the right and back to the left, only having to worry about one set of dancers who insisted circling to the left(!). The resulting transition into Allemand went so smoothly that it wasn’t until the debriefing that she realized that most circles begin to the left. It turns out that Kristi, Tim Wilson and I all went home that night and wrote dances to capture and celebrate this smoothly flowing variation. This is my effort.

Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (8). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.

Recordings whose titles are in italics are not explicitly linked to this dance but have been identified by the database based on the type, bar count, and recommended tune(s) of the dance.
