From the notes: "Dedicated to Donna Wilson who dances 'Petronella Diamonds' with such obvious enjoyment. Most dances containing Petronella Diamonds either contain poussettes which require good pas-de-bas from both partners or more difficult formations, hence my reason for composing this little dance."
