Although listed in the original publication of Whetherly Book 16 as a jig, the recommended music is a reel. Iain Boyd suggests in issue 1657 that John Mitchell made a mistake and the dance should be a reel.
The editors of the re-published WB 16 version will change this to a Reel and leave a note within the publication about the change.
