This dance was collected by Mary Isdale MacNab from Donald Dingus in Kintail, Rosshire and was originally dedicated to Kenneth MacKenzie, Earl of Seaforth in 1771. It was published as a leaflet in 1968 by Mary MacNab’s neice Elizabeth Sutorius of San Diego, California.
