Devised by Hugh Porteous and the Caledonian Society of Sheffield Dance Class for the ASCDS Festival at Ollerton on 9th May 2009. 10 bar phrases Note: Eric's Crib shows the current version. In an earlier version the deviser, for [19-20], wrote “turn their partner by the left hand to finish in the middle of the dance with the man below the woman”. In another variant, 1c turn LH 1½ for [25-26]

A LH turn on bars 19-20 is the way it was described in the first version of the dance (leaflet).
