The idea for this dance began as a couple of dancers and a piper were waiting on a downtown
street comer for the rest of the performance team to arrive for a demo. The piper began to warm
up with a beautiful strathspey tune, and the two dancers mused, "If only we knew a strathspey
for one couple!"

Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (?). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.

Recordings whose titles are in italics are not explicitly linked to this dance but have been identified by the database based on the type, bar count, and recommended tune(s) of the dance.
