Devised in November 2009. Chase Court is our home in the US (in Independence Harbor, Edge-water, New Jersey) and seemed a good name for a dance with chases. Our building is actually named after Samuel Chase of Maryland, one of the original signatories of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
Music Any good reel (Inspired by Red House Reel). A suitable recording is ‘Catch the Wind’, Catch the Wind, The Music Makars, track 1. (This is not the tune used by the RSCDS in book 45.)
