It is likely that this is an English Country Dance, as it is on Jimmy Shand's English Folk Dances LP from 1973. On searching, there are 3 versions of it as an English Country Dance available, all for 2 couples and 32 bars and reel time (one says 2/4 meter and Rant Steps). It was published in Kennedy's Community Dances Manual, the EFDSS Community Dance Manual and included with the recording Folkcraft 337-011A. All the descriptions are the same formations, though differently described.
