Information from the original description: The dance was devised in June 1998 as a teaching dance to introduce 'ladies' chain'. Recommended music is a strong strathspey such as "Bonnie Flowers o'er the Muir" with a suitable recording being by the Berkeley Players "None So Pretty". Daisy Macdonald Fanning is the niece of Rod Downey. The dance celebrates her birth. Originally "Bonnie Flowers O'er the Muir" was assigned as tune for the dance, which is the name of the suitable recording. The lead tune of this recording, however, has a different name. Rod Downey has realized this and had the tune corrected to "Barbara Rae", the correct lead tune of the recording "Bonnie Flowers O'er the Muir".
Table rows with a green background denote recordings starting with one of the recommended tunes and the usual number of repetitions for the dance (8). A yellow background means a recording with one of the recommended tunes but a non-standard number of repetitions. Recordings with a red background use a different tune and possibly a non-standard number of repetitions.
