The dance is dedicated to Leslie (nee Henderson) and Peter Hastings. Peter and Leslie got married on the 26th of March, 2001 in the company of members of the Skagit SCD group in Annacortes, WA, and held a ball in celebration on the 27th of June, 2002, in Cluny Church Hall, Edinburgh. At the time of the celebration they were living in Stockbridge in Edinburgh. This dance starts with two chords. On the 2nd chord 3rd and 4th couples cross to opposite side. (Source: a copy of this dances was published in the "Dance On!" magazine together with the above information.)
