This dance was devised by Joan and Hugh Ferguson to mark the occasion of the wedding of the Prince Edward to Miss Sophie Rhys-Jones in Windsor Castle on 19th of June 1999. The different parts of the dance are meant to represent the stages of meeting, flirtation, aspects of living separate busy lives but returning to be together, and at the end the ring symbolising the marriage union.
